Razer announced the Reclusa X Mini 65% on 8 September. Its main draw is a socketed board: the pre-installed switches can be replaced with compatible 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switches without soldering. That makes it a different proposition from a fixed-switch keyboard bought solely for its stock key feel.
The Reclusa is a 65% layout. It retains dedicated arrow keys but removes the number pad and function row. If you use F-keys often, a TKL board such as the models in our TKL comparison gives you those keys without relying on shortcuts.
What comes in the box
Razer fits Orange Tactile Mechanical Switches Gen-3, doubleshot ABS keycaps and two layers of silicone dampening. The keyboard also has per-key RGB with south-facing LEDs. Razer lists wired 1,000 Hz polling, Snap Tap, Snap Flex and Dual-Keypress Priority among its gaming features. These are the manufacturer’s stated features; the Reclusa is a conventional mechanical board, not one of Razer’s adjustable-actuation analog optical models.
The Australian Razer product page lists a US keyboard variant. Check the selected layout before ordering. For a wider shortlist that includes wireless, full-size and TKL models, see our gaming keyboard roundup.
